realtime-calib is free and open source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0).

What AGPL-3.0 means for you​

  • You can use, study, modify and share realtime-calib freely.
  • If you distribute it or offer it over a network (e.g. as a service), you must make your complete corresponding source code — including your modifications — available to users under the AGPL-3.0.

Commercial use​

The AGPL's network copyleft is not compatible with keeping your own code proprietary. If you want to:

  • embed realtime-calib in a closed-source / proprietary product, or
  • offer it as a hosted service without releasing your source, or
  • get realtime-calib adapted to your needs (custom development),

a commercial license and custom development are available. This is a classic dual-licensing model (as used by MongoDB, Grafana, Nextcloud and others): the same code is AGPL for everyone, and a separate commercial license removes the copyleft obligations for paying users.
